53654/36, I am commanded by the Army Council to state that they

are awaiting a report from the local military authorities on

certain further questions arising out of the proposals for the

acquisition of the new cantonment and the surrender of the

Sham-Shui-Po area, and that they will communicate further with

your Department as soon as possible after the receipt of the

report.
